I don’t know why I never thought about there being so many different species of Dragonflies and Damselflies but I’m learning that there are. They have some pretty cool names too, like Eight Spotted Skimmer.

See, I love all wildlife, even insects. They are also very interesting to look at and can make for an interesting subject in a photograph. And how cool is the name Flame Skimmer. This was taken at Ewing Reservoir in Hayfork, CA.
