I like this style of photography. I don’t know if it’s popular or if no one else does it. But I like it so I think I will continue.

This Agouti that I was hanging out with kept shaking occasionally because it was raining very lightly. As they got more wet, they would end up shaking off the water. I tried to capture a cool photo of it, but unfortunately only this one that was right before it shook looks like a decent photograph.

This Red Tailed Squirrel was moving so quickly that my camera could not capture it in perfect sharpness. But my wife said that the photograph is good enough so I will share it with everyone.

This is probably my favorite shot of the Tayra. I like the spiderweb in the photograph as well.

A pretty good portrait of a Red Tailed Squirrel in Ecuador but my favorite feature is the little blue beetle. Do you see it?

I would imagine that the Ecuadorian Rabbit doesn’t get a lot of attention from photographers. But it took me about two days of travel and four different airports to get to Ecuador and then it took a few long car rides to eventually run into this Rabbit so I did what I could to get a nice portrait of it.

While the group I was with in Ecuador was busy photographing birds at some bird feeders, much of my attention was on a couple of Squirrels that were running around. I noticed one of them take this path along a moss covered branch that was on the ground. I positioned myself in a way that I could quickly capture the Squirrel running along that branch in case it chose that path again. Fortunately it did, and fortunately I did. I have a series of photographs while the Squirrel jumped along this branch and this might be the best one.

I saw quite a few Horses running around in the Páramo of Ecuador so I asked the driver of our photography group if they were wild. He replied that they are indeed wild. Later that night I decided to read a little more about the Horses. Turns out that they are wild, but technically they are feral. They were brought by the Spanish years ago and some escaped their captivity and now roam around the Páramo freely.
