I think I've mentioned this before, but sometimes when taking action shots I don't actually know what the end results are going to look like. Take Douglas Squirrel 15 for example. In this photograph it looks like this Douglas' Squirrel is doing a super hero pose. If you don't know what that is, type in "super hero pose" into your favorite search engine. It basically looks similar to this Squirrel, as if it came in for a cool landing.
In reality, this Douglas' Squirrel was scratching itself with it's hind leg. That's what it was doing when I was taking a burst of photographs. It wasn't until I reviewed the images that I noticed this cool pose.
