I was fortunate to keep running into these Rock Wrens. Actually, it felt more like they kept finding me. This might be my favorite photograph of them. I specifically framed the shot with two Lupine stalks in the foreground straddling the Wren. My lens made their green leaves and purple flowers look faint, as if they were softly watercolored on top of the rest of the scene.
