Finally, my first Pika sighting. This is something I've wanted to capture for a while but just didn't know exactly where to look. I knew they were in Lassen Volcanic National Park but didn't have the opportunity to go search for them before the road closed for the season last year. The road actually opened a little while ago, but I had other priorities to take care of. However, I finally made it out last night, and it really didn't take all that long for me to track down my first Pika. I have a couple more photographs from this visit to share, but none have the impact I'm really looking for. I'll be going back often to try and capture my visions. Wish me luck!
