Another first. I've taken photos of Mourning Doves before, but not photographs I want to share. I like this one, though. This is a good example of why I prefer shooting during sunrise or sunset. I happen to capture this shot during Sunset. The light is soft during this time. Photographs taken during any other part of a sunny day have much harsher light. I prefer my photographs to have softer light in general, but sometimes the harsh light helps a particular image. I'll take those shots too, but it's more rare.
