This is probably one of my favorite photographs I've taken up until now. Of course, the Black Flowerpiercer is not native to the US. I took this photograph in Ecuador. I love the composition with that pink flowering tree. Or is that a bush? And I love the pose with the tail slightly fanned and the wing away from its body. And last but not least, I love that it's singing.
